Mill #2816 is distinctive for the wood it is turned from. This variation is from a source that produces birch that has been milled, dyed and laminated together. We purchase turning blanks from the source, and George turns mills that take advantage of the designs produced. While this mill has sold, let us know if you are interested in a similar one. This mill is 9 3/8” from the base to the top of the knob. It is 2 7/8” across the base, and is finished with Polycryl® for easy care. A starter of pepper will be included with the mill. If you would like a mill that is similar but with other colors, please contact us and we will let you know if your colors are available.
Mill #2890 turned of Cherry with an accent rings of Walnut & Padauk. This mill is 9 1/2” from the base to the top of the knob. Lathe-Turned with an adjustable “Antique” Style Pepper MIll Mechanism. The Woods are Sumac, with a base of Douglass Fir and a top of White Pine. The mill is for pepper only. It is easily adjustable with the thumb wheel. This mill measures 9 1/4” tall and 3 1/4” across the base. It is finished with Polycrylic for easy care. It will come with a starter of multi-colored peppercorns and instruction label.
