This mill is an amazing example of how interesting maple can be. The wood is from a section of ambrosia maple. The end grain shows a starburst pattern (as seen in the background of the second picture). This mill is turned from a “side grain” segment showing the amazing coloring. It stands 9 3/4" tall and is 2 3/4" across the base of the mill. This mechanism makes it easy to fill and easy to adjust the grind of your pepper. We will include a vial of multi-colored pepper. You can reuse the vial to refill this mill. The mill is sanded by hand with multiple grits, and finished with to make it easy to clean. It is signed, dated and the wood or woods is identified on the base. A number refers to its image in our database, so if ever there is a question or concern we know exactly which mill you are referring to. It is very popular, and we have an "antique" mill we have used daily for over four years. While we will turn other mills of ambrosia maple, this one may always be one of our stars! This exact mill is not available, but we can turn one similar for you.
